EQ3 AUv3 plug-in is available in a time-limited Demo version for users to trial, offering 5 minutes of complimentary play time. The Demo period can be reset by reloading the plug-in. The unlimited version of the EQ3 AUv3 plug-in is accessible via an In-App Purchase.

In the 1980s, the EQ3 was an innovative departure from traditional analog equalizers. Unlike typical analog models that use bandpass boosts or cuts to adjust different sections of the audio spectra, the EQ3 achieves frequency shaping by summing bandpasses. The emulation stays true to this method while incorporating enhancements through digital technology, delivering an authentic yet technologically refined experience.

The EQ3 features broad, interacting bands at 10 (Sub), 40, 160, 650, and 2.5 kHz. Additionally, there is a 'rock (airy) band' control for HF boosting only.
